This product met my expectations given the price point. I love the style of the chairs. While individuals commented on the difficulty of assembling them I was able to put together three in a few hours without any difficulty, loving the results. I would definitely recommend this product if you are looking for a reasonably priced quality country French style bar stool!

I am writing mainly in response to the "horrible" review to help future purchasers with assembly. I had the same problem until I realized that you had to turn the stretchers so that the predrilled holes faced the bottom of the chair. Then you turn the chair upside down and turn in the screws from that angle. Then the screws fit perfectly and do not split the leg of your chair. I only gave four stars as I still had a problem with the screws securing the rush seat. I can only tighten one of them -- but it is enough to make the chair useable. Ultimately, I like the chairs because they are attractive and inexpensive.
