I purchased two of these counter stools and when they arrived the chairs were damaged - deep scratches on the top of each chair. Once they were installed one chair is about 1-2 inches higher than the other. Not at all what I was expecting. They are very, very heavy so we didn't send them back and decided to keep them. What a disappointment.

These are comfortable bar stools that match my parents' kitchen well. They are a bit tricky to put together though, so be sure to have help. I do wish the wood was a little more scratch-resistant, as the stools often get bumped against the counter as the kids get in and out of them. Overall, we are very happy with this purchase.

I ordered 2 of these bar stools. They are a very nice quality product, comfortable and look great. No problems at all with assembly. I have had them about 6 months with no issues.
