They are very attractive and easy to assemble. The major flaw is the quality of the wood base under the cushion. I noticed the screws were not biting very well while attaching the cushions to the stool base. All four screws have already fallen out of one stool, the one used on a regular basis. The wood appears to be a low quality plywood. My next step would be to use larger screws and hope for the best. After that I think plastic wall anchors may be needed. I would have sent these stools back, but have changed the covers to a fabric instead of the faux leather.

Having purchased a new house, I started looking for "bar stools" for my kitchen island. I stumbled across some reviews that explained that a "bar" stool, normally 30" high, don't work well for kitchen island. I found most bar stools come in either 24" or 30" heights. I almost ordered some 30" stools, but looked a bit more and found some "counter height" stools. I'd hadn't heard of "counter height" but it makes perfect sense. After reading reviews, I took a chance on these stools. They are advertised as 26" but are in fact just over 25" height. Turns out that's a great height for kitchen counters! Don't settle for 24" or 30" height. 26" or close to it, is the perfect working / usable height for a kitchen counter. Specifically, these stools were available at a good price. As others have mentioned, the stool is very sturdy when assembled. Others mention "wobble" as in the stool doesn't balance on a few of the legs. My concern was "wobble" as in the stool itself would "flex" when someone sat on it. These stools have turned out to be very sturdy - no wobble by either definition. Follow the directions closely as there are a couple of screw sizes and it's easy to mix up which ones get washers and which don.t Also the 4 wood screws that hold the seat to the metal frame are somewhat short. I'd suggest some a little longer, but since you lift from the metal frame (can't lift the seat itself since it's mounted to the metal frame) it hasn't been a problem yet. The seat area is very large, no problem if you have a large tush. Three stools fit my 6' island well. Very comfortable. I'd recommend these to anyone with a kitchen counter.

This is a beautiful bar stool.I purchase 4 of themthey are very sturdy and easy to put together.However I bought them to go around my kitchen island and the 30" stool is just a little to tall. I would recommend the 26" high stool for this.
