I cannot believe how inexpensive these stools are. I ordered 4 stools total (2 sets of 2), and took a chance when ordering because I wondered how the quality would be considering the low price. They are easy to assemble (about 15-20 minutes each) and very sturdy- we've had them for a few weeks now, and they've held up very well. They are very attractive, and I have expensive taste. I usually spend a lot more for high-end furniture since I want it to last a lifetime, but budgets have been short lately, and I could not be more pleased with these stools. They look a lot more expensive than they are! Although the seats are of man-made materials, they look like real leather. The solid wood construction is holding up well thus far. My only complaint is that the nail heads are not real, although they look real in the picture. They are more of a metal decorative ribbon with a nail-head look around the rim of the seat, but it is worth overlooking for this price.Also, there's a detail missing from the listing's description - the diameter of the seat is about 16". I hope you find this helpful.UPDATE: It seems they are selling them as singles now, because when I bought them, the title was "Set of 2 Espresso Finish Wood 24"H Swivel Bar Stools Counter Chairs," which has since changed. However, try a search on this site for B004H720L4. There is a set of two almost identical ones by the same maker currently for a better deal.
