These stools were a solid purchase. I'm not very picky..im just happy if something functions. My fiance is a designer and loves the style. Good enough for me. As usual with Amazon, lightning fast shipping made it even better. Stools are comfy and well made. However, if you're overweight, or have a wide rear end, you might not be very comfortable.

Stools are actually better than I thought!First of all, I knew from the amazon description that the stool was height adjustable but it long height adjustment range from around 23" to 31"!Second, the installation was extremely easy and the entire product is very sturdy, the swivel motion is very fluid, the the height adjuster is smooth, the material finish looks great, and the entire product is fantastic!And finally, the whole thing was so easy to put together (5min) that I was wondering if it was flimsy and would easily fall apart, but I could not figure out a way to detach the thing apart?! i e-mail the winsome customer service and received a prompt response with picture instructions the next day! that just was the icing on the cake for me!My only concern is that I still cannot take the thing apart even with the provided instructions, this is a plus to me since it's that sturdy but could be a minus to some others.But did I mention that the thing looks fantastic?!would definitely recommend these stools and this company.

I bought three of these a year ago and found them easy to assemble and they looked great. The kids really like them. After about 9 months of use the plastic ring around the bottom of the base of each stool began cracking and eventually came off completely in pieces. This left the metal base directly in contact with the floor which meant metal against my wood floor. This is not good because moving the stools would scratch the floor. I put about six small felt protectors on each stool base to prevent scratching. Recently one of the three stools pneumatic cylinder has stopped working. You can sit in it and raise the hand lever to lower the chair and it will stay where you put it until you get up and then the stool rises by itself to the highest level. You get what you pay for right? For $59 I think I'll get another to replace the malfunctioning one.
