These chairs look like they might cost about $200 each, but they are only $90. Instead of getting some cheap looking metal, buy these solid wood stools and give your room a classy look.All pieces were in the boxes and all holes drilled. My husband took a couple of hours to put the three together. They look fabulous with our oak cabinets and granite counter tops.

The product itself was beautiful, but because of the incorrect description, I could not use it.I believe Amazon.com is responsible and should reimburse me for the return postage I incurred.(Return Postage including insurance - $ 47.60 + original postage of $ 29.50.)If I understand it correctly, my A-Z Guarantee claim was refused. I spoke to a representative named Audrey who saidit would be reconsidered. I have not received a response to that requestI find it hard to believe that Amazon. com does not stand behind a mistake that appears to be clearly theirs.Perhaps, the mistake was made in the manufacturer's communication with Amazon. (The box was clearly marked 24 ") In that case it becomes Amazon's responsibility to settle with the manufacturer and not pass the burden for the error on to the consumer.Every stool, including the one I purchased describes the seat height of the article.The stools I purchased as you can see from the listing were described as 37.5 inches high, which is NOT the seat hight.I purchased them because I have a high counter and they were for little childrenwho usually need a "booster' on their seats;however, Amazon.com was listing the height of the back of the chair - the seat height was 24"Boraam industries has accepted the return and I am being credited with $238.Leaving me with a bill of $77 throuhg no fault of my own.Marilyn MacchiaIf every other stool did not quote the actual seat height, I would say I was mistaken. This inconsistency on Amazon's part is clearly their fault.

The title says it all. There is a caveat however, and that is putting it together. The directions are horrible, however if you are mechanically inclined you will not have a problem adjusting the directions. Another feature to these chairs is that it can handle a "big butt" without taking up a lot of floor space. In other words, these chairs are sturdy, yet compact. I am a small person and my boyfriend is over 6 ft, and we both fit in them well. My tight little room can handle three of them too. The color of the stain is somewhat on the reddish side if that helps. Go for it!
