Overall, I was very satisfied with the barstools. The color was slightly different than I had expected, but still looks great in my kitchen. I was surprised, however, to find grooved notches on top of the seat, on the corners. From the photos I thought it was a piece of wood notched into each corner and stained a darker color. Not a big deal, I just was expecting a completely smooth seat. Seems to be sturdy and well constructed. Assembly didn't take long and easy to figure out. Great buy!

These are very nice, seem sturdy. Top has decorative grooves on the short edges that add a rustic flare. The height of the stool is just right for parking at a breakfast bar, and it is easy for my kids to climb up to eat at the island. My only issue was the base: it is 18"x16" at the base of the legs, with a seat of 17.5"x9"... this makes the legs flare out from our kitchen island and are prone to catch toes when walking by (we only have a 12" overhang on the island, in a main traffic area.)

The barstools are beautiful and sturdy and arrived quickly. They take a little work putting them together to be tight, and the seat feels hard after sitting in it too long, but I do love the looks of them.
