Very easy and quick to put this stool together! I bought it to match two others that I had purchased at Target 3 years ago. This particular one is a bit smaller in the base, foot rack and seat, but still has all of the features and works well. It can be used at table height or bar with the ease of the air lift. I like that it can easily slide under my kitchen counter top. The chrome base is pretty, but collects dog hair and dust. Glass cleaner makes it shine like new. It's comfortable, light weight, and swivels.

I bought one of these to use as a shop stool, and that was a mistake. Although it is nice looking and had the features I wanted (no wheels, but adjustable up and down), it is one of the least durable pieces of furniture I've ever seen. If it was made out of a sturdy fiberglass, it would be great. Instead it seems to be a very brittle polycarbonate. I knelt on the seat once with about half my weight, and it cracked pretty severely. It was usable though, so I kept using it. A dozen hour-long sitting sessions later, and the whole thing shattered when I leaned forward. Ouch! Glad no one saw that!If someone could make this exact same stool out of a sturdier plastic, it would be PERFECT. Until then, don't waste your money unless you plan on just using it as decoration.

While the materials these stools are made form look nice, the metal bases are not heavy enough. What you are left with is a nice looking stool that is wobbly and cheap feeling.
