These barstools are very comfortable and are quite sturdy. They were a snap to put together. They are the perfect height for my kitchen island and are light enough to move about when necessary. I love that the slatted tops give them a unique open look but they are still substantial. So far, I haven't felt the need to put cushions on them as I don't want to hide the pretty seat design and I can sit in one for hours without feeling squirmy.

Really well made, very easy to assemble and it seems very solid. My husband was surprised when I told him how much I paid, considering the quality. Perfect height for kitchen counter, and not too big to slide out of the way when not needed. Definitely well worth the price.

The stools are easy to assemble, and quite stylish. They look great with our island. They are the perfect seat without being too big or clunky, so as to detract from the island. I would recommend them to anyone who wants some added style without taking up to much room. They fit nicely right under the lip of the counter. One caveat- they are sturdy as far as I am concerned, but my brother is a large guy, about 250 and solidly built, and it seemed fine, but something to consider.
