I looked forever to find bar stools that had everything I wanted and didn't cost an arm and a leg. These are great; they adjust height with the pull of a lever, swivel, and they are very comfortable. Love the modern style of them too. And they arrived completely assembled (I was worried they wouldn't.) Very happy with my two stools!

These bar stools get *** as they were delivered, but after swapping out the cushion, they're ***** all the way!I ordered two of these bar stools for my kitchen breakfast bar. They arrived quickly in large boxes and were already assembled. The design of the chairs is quite nice! With sleek lines and smooth surface, they'd fit well into any decor. The chair mechanics work easily and have a nice feel to them. It's simple to adjust the height of the chairs and doesn't require much strength to do so.Unfortunately, the comfort was lacking. I've an athletic build with some extra cushion in the booty, yet these chairs were hard to sit on. After about 30 minutes, my tailbone started hurting.Fortunately, these chairs disassemble really easily with an allen wrench, so I ended up re-upholstering the chair and swapping out the foam inside the cushion with some cushions from Target that I cannibalized and some nice upholstery grade linen. Once that was done, these bar stools were perfection! Goodbye uncomfortable stools that stick to the back of my legs! All in all, my additional materials to re-upholster both bar stools came to $20 and about an hour of work. All you need for reupholstering is: * A flathead screwdriver (to remove the existing staples) * Some cushioning material for the inside * Upholstery grade fabric (about 18"x18") * A staple gun * An allen wrench (to remove the screws holding it together) * Scissors to trim the material after stapling it down

Quick shipment, good packing. I use the chair on a large carpet pad as a stool for my garage bench. Seat is good quality, functionally works well, nice plating finish, the back pad seemed a little less quality to me (somewhat hard). The second time I used the bar stool, when I moved it the rubber ring that is around the bottom to protect sufaces that the stool is sitting on, fell off. Yep, fell off. I put it back and secured it with some glue.Oddly, I'd buy another if I needed. Good price, good appearance, just maybe not the best quality.
