Product Description
The Chic bar stools are just that, Chic. These stools will add high style to your home, office, or restaurant/bar and features a bright chrome base and footstool with a ultra-supportive cushioned faux leather seat. Suitable for most any environment, the simple one piece seat employs quilted faux leather stitched over copious amounts of padding to provide excellent levels of comfort. The mid-level backrest gives good support to the lower spine. The chromed stand with adjustable height gas lift holds up the seat in a fashion that makes it seem as though it is hovering in the air. A round base with rubber protection for your floor, 360 degree swivel and the round footrest make the Chic different from the usual run-of-the-mill bar stools and gives more visual impact. A simple yet well executed design that goes a long way. Each bar stool comes complete with an adjustable gas lift tested to operate at least 100,000 times! Measures about 17.7" wide by 18.5" deep and adjusts from table to counter/bar height (33.6" to 44.1" total height or 22.4" to 32.3" for the seat height). Seat height is about 11.8" from the center of the seat. Base has a 15.7" diameter.

We searched for lots of different stools for our newly renovated kitchen. We wanted adjustable height, that could/would spin and would fit in with a black and white color scheme. Our new granite island needed something appropriately chic and expensive looking. They are perfect, really easy to assemble (took less then 4 minutes and that included opening the packages) and they are extremely good value compared to similar ones.They are very comfortable, have been adjusted to fit kids and very tall people, and clean easily. A bonus is that the company is wonderful to deal with - customer sevice helped to sort out an issue with FedEx, as I didn't know where else to turn. Best purchase of the year!

These are reasonably decent stools as far as how they look. For the price you get the materials you'd expect. And they were easy enough to assemble. The major issue, however, is that the chairs absolutely do NOT rise up to 33". While not being sat in, the highest they go is 31 1/2 inches, and sink about an inch to an inch and a half when sat in. Also, the chair seats angle forward a bit, and the base isn't as heavy and sturdy as I was hoping for a tall stool. If you're looking for a very tall stool, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. If you don't need a stool to be more than 30 inches, then these stools are a reasonable item for the price.

I purchased two of these sets within weeks of each other and both arrived in pretty good condition--only one had experienced the scratching due to insufficient packing material (mentioned by another reviewer) which I can live with. The weird thing is that they are not exactly the same product.The first set I got had thinner padding and different tilt to the seat cushions and no black handles on the height adjusting levers.All four were really easy to put together and are comfortable to sit on and adjust very easily. Just beware if you have OCD or are a perfectionist and you need more than 2 stools, you may have to return a set and suffer all the headache and cost that entails.
