Once assembled, you can be highly certain that you'll love it. As for assembly, please make sure that you have removed the "black protective hard cap/cover" from the silver cylinder! This step is not documented in the product's manual, but if you don't do it you'll simply be able to use the bar stool without the ability to raise or lower it using the handle. Also, removing that black may be challenging, so make sure you protect your arms/face if you are using a screwdriver like I did. Compared to other affordable bar stool, it's well worth the little pain... :)

The product is a bit lighter weight than I expected but reasonably comfortable. I do not recommend this for very large or very heavy people. I guess that maximum safe weight is 200 lb. or under . The stools went together very easily and quickly and look very nice. My chairs were sold and fulfilled by Amazon and my experience was good.Update: Just changed it to two start because I had to order one more to replace the one that broke last night. At first we noticed a very thin crack on the chair a week ago, and then the area caved in while my 155 lb partner sitting on it. The material is a rigid, thin and lightweight plastic that comes off in thin sheets.

Ordered a couple for my kitchen island. Easy to assemble. Very nice looking stools.Both the base and the seat look great for the price.The seat is made of plastic but looks great.Someone pushed the lever hard downward by mistake and ended up breaking up some plastic inside and the level hags a bit loose but still functions fine.I am planning to buy a couple more.
